A Woman Among Wolves
with author Diane Boyd

Wednesday, March 19
6:30PM MT

In A Woman Among Wolves, wildlife biologist Diane Boyd recounts
her four-decade journey studying wolves near Glacier National
Park. As the only female biologist in the U.S. to research and
collar wild wolves in the 1970s, Boyd faced harsh conditions,
including isolated winters and rugged terrain. She tracked wolves
through grizzly bears, mountain lions, and other dangers,
developing innovative methods to monitor their population. Boyd
shares her passion for wolves, chronicling their journey from a
few in Montana to over 3,000 in the West, and explores the
complex relationship between humans and this apex predator.
