I like you have been infuriated and at the same time exhausted by the speed with which Co-Presidents Musk & Trump are trying to dismantle our government. But our outrage and our voices together are having an impact.

Across the country, Republican legislators are facing the consequences of their harmful actions—and they’re running scared.

But instead of facing their constituents and answering tough questions, many Republicans are trying to hide from the people they were elected to serve.

Now, they’re ducking out of town halls altogether. In an attempt to avoid accountability, Republican leaders are urging members to hide from their constituents—no matter the cost. But Oklahomans aren't having it -- just watch these women from across Oklahoma who flooded into Rep. Tom Cole's office! [[link removed]]

And a more embarrassing example of this trend made the national news. Rep. Stephanie Bice held a virtual town hall to avoid facing her constituents directly.

But even in this virtual setting, she couldn’t escape the tough questions. A Republican constituent, a Retired Army Officer, pressed her on cuts to veterans’ benefits and the damaging effects of cryptocurrency schemes like DOGE. The frustration was palpable.

You can see the clear disconnect between the politicians who are supposed to serve us and the people who are demanding answers.
