Trump’s First Congressional Address Garners 36.6 Million TV Viewers

Just the News: President Donald Trump’s address to Congress on Tuesday night drew in 36.6 million television viewers, according to the Nielsen company. The number was more than the 32.2 million that President Joe Biden got in his final address last year… Nielson, a company that provides data about media audiences and consumerism, said that 71% of Trump’s television viewers were 55 and older (Just the News). Associated Press: Trump’s first speech to Congress as president, in 2017, was seen by 47.7 million people. Television viewing in general has decreased since then. State Department to Cancel Student Visas of Pro-Hamas Protestors
Townhall: Pro-Hamas agitators here in the country on student visas don’t appear to have much longer to carry on with their protests in the United States. Even after President Donald Trump has spoken out against “illegal” protests being allowed to carry on at institutions of higher learning, with threats of defunding being brought up, schools like Barnard College still continue to be taken over by terrorist sympathizers. It looks like action is finally coming, with an announcement from the State Department and Secretary Marco Rubio (Townhall). Marco Rubio: Those who support designated terrorist organizations, including Hamas, threaten our national security. The United States has zero tolerance for foreign visitors who support terrorists. Violators of U.S. law — including international students — face visa denial or revocation, and deportation (X).

Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX): “… he is trying to make us go back to the fields"
Townhall: We’ve been covering how extremely anti-Trump Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) has been, especially recently, throwing out all sorts of accusations about President Donald Trump. Just when it seems she couldn’t go any further, she comes up with a worse comment… Crockett went on a rant about how they have decided to go after immigrants, and things like that, and they’ve said, ‘oh, they’ve taken your black jobs, they’ve taken your black jobs,'” adding, “not really.” “They are obviously jobs that they want us to go back to,” Crockett continued. “Such as working the fields, all right?” The Reverend Dr. Frederick D. Haynes, III, whom Crockett was speaking to, could be seen nodding along in agreement. “Those immigrants that come into our country, they work the fields, something that we ain’t done in a long time, and clearly, he is trying to make us go back to the fields” (Townhall)! Reporter Rusty Weiss: Rep. Jasmine Crockett continues going for gold in the Stupid Olympics, saying enforcing immigration laws is Trump’s way of trying to send black people “back to the fields” (X).

House Votes to Censure Rep. Al Green (D-TX) for Repeatedly Disrupting President Trump’s Joint Address to Congress
Townhall: The House of Representatives on Thursday voted to censure Rep. Al Green (D-TX) for trying to disrupt President Donald Trump’s Tuesday speech to a joint session of Congress. During the president’s speech, Green stood up and began shouting at the president while waving his cane like a grumpy old man. Other Democratic lawmakers joined in. House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) repeatedly asked Green to stop his ridiculous grandstanding and to “take your seat.” But the lawmaker was too desperate for attention to stop and continued until Johnson asked the Seargent-at-Arms to remove him from the floor (Townhall). Curtis Houck: House Democrats derail Speaker Mike Johnson’s reading of a censure resolution against Congressman Al Green for repeatedly heckling President Trump during his address Tuesday night…..with a rendition of We Shall Overcome (X). Olivia Beavers: The Dems who voted to censure or voted present on the Rep. Green censure resolution (X).

Trump Orders Doge to Only Cut the Bloat of the Government
Katie Pavlich: President Donald Trump is ordering Cabinet secretaries to use a “scalpel” not a “hatchet” when dealing with staffing cuts at the agencies. The news comes after a meeting to discuss next steps for the Department of Government Efficiency, which is being managed and directed by Elon Musk… “We just had a meeting with most of the Secretaries, Elon, and others, and it was a very positive one. It’s very important that we cut levels down to where they should be, but it’s also important to keep the best and most productive people,” Trump said (Townhall). CSPAN: President Trump: “I want the cabinet members to keep good people… We’re gonna be watching them. Elon and the group are gonna be watching them. And if they can cut, it’s better and if they don’t cut, then Elon will do the cutting” (X).

Hunter Biden Claims He Is Broke, Moves to Dismiss Lawsuit Against Former Trump Aide
National Review: Former president Joe Biden’s troubled son Hunter is having a hard time finding income now that his father’s political career is over. In court filings Wednesday, Hunter Biden admitted that money was hard to come by now that his art sales and book sales have dried up, and for that reason he is seeking to dismiss his lawsuit against former Trump aide Garrett Ziegler for uploading the materials from Biden’s abandoned laptop hard drive (National Review). Clay Travis: Hunter Biden is broke and no one is buying his artwork, his books or paying for him to come speak at events. Of course they aren’t, this was always a Biden family grift — pay Hunter for his BS “talents” and get access to his dad. Everyone knows this (X). Miranda Devine: Hunter Biden is crying poor so he wants the court to let him drop his lawsuit against Garret Ziegler and Marco Polo “without prejudice” which means he can restart it any time he likes. No way, says Ziegler. He wants Hunter to repay him $200k plus in costs and the court to command him not to reanimate the suit (X).

Governor Newsom Claims He is Against Trans-Men Competing in Women’s Sports
Daily Wire: California Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom has been slammed by both sides of the political aisle after he attempted to straddle the fence when it comes to the issue of trans-identifying males playing in women’s sports. During the debut of Newsom’s podcast “This is Gavin Newsom,” his guest, conservative commentator Charlie Kirk, did not beat around the bush and flat out asked the longtime LGBTQ supporter if he would come out and say: “No men in female sports.” “I think it’s an issue of fairness, I completely agree with you on that,” Newsom said. “So, that’s easy to call out. The unfairness of that” (Daily Wire). Bill Essayli: This is stunning. Talk is cheap Gavin Newsom. Why don’t you support my bill AB 844 to reverse CA’s law allowing boys to compete in girls sports? You’re the Governor, not a commentator (X)!

State Farm Executive Fired for Attacking California Fire Victims to Undercover Reporter
Townhall: A State Farm insurance executive has been fired after he blasted Los Angeles fire victims and told an undercover O’Keefe Media Group journalist that the company discriminates against white people in its hiring. “I personally, I task my HR team, finding me… the perfect profile of the workforce of the future,” Haden Kirkpatrick, the former Vice President of Innovation and Venture Capital at State Farm, says in the recording. “I want the 2040 workforce. So go find me the demographic profile of America in 2040: more Hispanic and Latinos.” Kirkpatrick also criticized California fire victims for their “egos building in a f***ing desert.” Following the exposé, State Farm terminated Kirkpatrick and issued the following statement to O’Keefe: “These assertions are inaccurate and in no way represent the views of State Farm. They do not reflect our position regarding the victims of this tragedy, the commitment we have demonstrated to the people of California, or our hiring practices across the company. The individual in the video is no longer affiliated with State Farm” (Townhall). My first question is, is that true?” Barry Wilmore: “I can only say that Mr. Musk, what he says is absolutely factual…” The astronauts were only supposed to be in space for 8 days. They have been there for 9 months. Musk had offered to retrieve them on his SpaceX capsule after the Boeing one started having problems. He was denied by the Biden admin. During his recent episode with Joe Rogan, Musk said the Biden admin denied his request for political reasons because they didn’t want to hurt Kamala’s campaign (X).
