Our March 2X Match Challenge ends in three days, and we still haven't heard from you. This is a very special opportunity where any gift you make — up to $120,000 — can be matched 2X to accelerate research and help provide quality care and support for the millions of people affected by Alzheimer's disease and other dementia. Please make your first gift now.
Tomorrow is International Women's Day. It's a time to celebrate and recognize the achievements of women who have changed — and continue to change — the world. But amidst these celebrations, we are heartbreakingly aware that women are more likely than men to be impacted by Alzheimer's or another dementia.
Many don't understand the disproportionate risk women face from this devastating disease:
Behind these statistics are mothers, sisters, aunts, grandmothers, wives and girlfriends. They will be our daughters, granddaughters and nieces — unless we fight to end this disease as relentlessly as it takes our loved ones.
We're fortunate to have this incredible opportunity for your gift to make 2X the difference, thanks to the Zent Family Foundation. They have pledged $120,000 in support of Alzheimer's disease research. Your gift by midnight on March 10 — up to $120,000 — can have DOUBLE the impact on advancing our mission to lead the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.
Women affected by Alzheimer's, or anyone facing this devastating disease, need resources they can count on, and research advancements that bring new treatments and, ultimately, a cure. For the women in your life and for everyone affected by this disease, please give as generously as you can.
With appreciation,
Katie Evans
