Making Australia Make Again!
Let’s be real. Australia’s over-reliance on foreign imports has been a disaster. We’ve got the skills, the resources, and the people to stand on our own two feet, yet too many of our industries have been gutted by dodgy trade deals and big corporations offshoring jobs. Well, enough is enough!
That’s why we’re launching “Make Australia Make Again” (MAMA), a campaign to bring back manufacturing, create real jobs, and make sure Aussie workers get a fair go. Here’s what we’re fighting for:
Back Local Production: We’re pushing for businesses to manufacture here in Australia instead of relying on cheap imports. If we can make it here, we bloody well should!
Invest in Skilled Trades: More apprenticeships, better training programs, and real career paths for tradies and workers; that’s how we build a strong, self-sufficient workforce.
Tougher Laws on Offshoring: If big companies think they can take government handouts and then ship Aussie jobs overseas, they’ve got another thing coming. We need policies that reward businesses doing the right thing and penalise those that don’t.
