Sean Spicer is officially joining the call for conditions to be placed on any federal aid for wildfire relief in California:

Because we flipped three seats from red to blue in California last year, Speaker Mike Johnson has one of the narrowest majorities in history.

He can’t afford to lose more than one vote to pass any Republican policies.

That’s why Sean Spicer is giving him some advice: He should tie conditions to California wildfire relief to other Republican initiatives and hopefully *FORCE* members of the California delegation to support Trump’s policies.

These “strings” could include things like:

1️⃣ Demanding that California loosen our clean air standards and repeal pro-electric vehicle policies;

2️⃣ Ordering that we roll back voting rights in our state;

3️⃣ Backing Trump legislative initiatives.

This song and dance needs to end, John. The needs of wildfire survivors and first responders should be front and center. This shouldn’t be political. Thankfully, our Democratic Congressional Delegation has three more members than last year. Those members are working right now, fighting to deliver real relief and opposing any of Speaker Johnson’s strings. Will you rush a donation right now to help them in this fight?
