Friend,

On Wednesday, more than 70 of my Democratic colleagues didn't show up to work and had another member vote on their behalf. This is unacceptable and unconstitutional. That's why I have introduced a bill that would withold pay from members of Congress who choose to vote by proxy instead of in person.

Healthcare workers, truck drivers, and grocery store employees are showing up for Americans. Why can't our elected officials show up to vote? If the Democrats don't want to work, then they shouldn't be collecting a paycheck that is paid by hardworking taxpayers!

This is a power grab by Nancy Pelosi to move her radical agenda forward, and I will not stand for it.
