Donald Trump’s disgraceful ban on transgender service members was never about military readiness — it is pure discrimination, plain and simple.
Brave transgender troops have served with honor, risked their lives, and defended our freedoms. Yet Trump and his allies turned their backs on them, forcing out skilled, dedicated personnel just because of who they are.
This policy was an attack on our military’s core values of integrity, courage, and unity. It weakened our armed forces and sent a cruel message: that some patriots are less worthy than others.
