You’re invited: Join the Healthy Environment for All (HEAL) Act Community Involvement pilot

Join us for an upcoming community session to provide your input on Commerce’s environmental justice assessments for programs and projects that could impact your community. The HEAL Act implementation team has partnered with Commerce’s Community Engagement Unit to pilot a process for community participation in program design and development.

A Spanish-language session will be held in June 2025.

*Who should participate?*


* Community members
* Informal community leaders
* Community-based organizations
* Elected officials and local governments

*Why participate?*

We invite your feedback to inform our environmental justice efforts. These sessions will focus on 


* *Community input* – Provide feedback on programs and agency actions through an environmental justice lens.
* *Needs assessment* – Share your community priorities related to environmental health and justice, technical assistance, education and planning.
* *Awareness* – Learn about programs and agency actions that may impact your community.
