John,

Today, I set out the priorities for a new Labour Government <[link removed]>.

After 18 months of chaos and broken promises, we need a government that has a sense of purpose. One that is driven forward by clear, focused objectives, and will put the politics of division aside and bring people together to do what’s right.

We need a government that sees and hears you – that goes to work every single day and fights for you, John. This is the Government I will lead.

Our focus is clear: Jobs, health and homes.

We prioritise a fair economy with secure jobs that pay a decent wage, healthcare you can rely on, and a warm home you can afford and make your own with a great school down the road.

These are three priorities that will drive our government.

New Zealand needs a fundamental shift, and the current Government is not strong or united enough to deliver it.

The National Government has chosen to make life harder for people. Christopher Luxon has turned his back on the promises he made, allowed ACT and NZ First to call the shots, and has not confronted the challenges facing us now and into the future.

This type of politics will not do. Not when our shared future is at stake.

The next Labour Government will lead with purpose and govern in partnership. All of us, working together for change.

I want the benefits of a thriving economy to be felt on every farm, at every kitchen table, rugby club, and family BBQ. A future where our kids see a good life for themselves in the places they grew up, with hospitals nearby where the doctors and nurses looking after you aren’t burnt out.

A future that will benefit us all is within reach.

Whether or not we make it happen will depend entirely on the choices we make together.

With your support, we will build a better New Zealand – for everyone.

Let’s get to work. <[link removed]>

Chris

P.S. If you’re able to, will you contribute to our efforts <[link removed]> toward building a New Zealand we can all be proud of?
