Universal Family Application
The Universal Family Application will open for all families on May 15.
Families that successfully completed the Phase One application will complete the Universal Family Application beginning May 1 in order to maintain first-come, first-serve priority. A separate link will be sent via email to Phase One applicants.
Families planning to apply should begin gathering their child’s birth certificate or other proof of age and residency. The Pre-Kindergarten application will require financial records to validate income eligibility. Applicants will be notified via email including the status of the application and further instructions. ESA funds will be available for use in July 2025.
Wyoming residents age 4 years and in pre-k through grade 12. Students not enrolled in a public school for the 2025-26 school year.
For Pre-kindergarten students, families with a household income at or below 250% of the federal poverty guidelines (approximately $80,375 for a family of four). See the Pre-kindergarten ESA Qualifying Income Level Table for details.
Eligible students can receive $7,000 annually, deposited into an ESA account for their educational expenses.
ESA Education Service Provider Application
The WDE will be launching the Education Service Provider (ESP) application on April 1. All interested parties are encouraged to sign up for ESA Updates for the latest information.
