A weekly wrap of ADL’s reports, updates and analysis on antisemitism around the world.
This Week’s Topline
Videos from The World’s Largest Summit on Antisemitism and Hate
While it may have looked like the entire ADL community was in New York earlier this week as thousands of people dedicated to fighting hate for good packed the Javits Center, we know some people missed Never Is Now, or were there but just couldn’t be in two places at once.
We want to share recordings of some of the amazing happenings from the two days of Never Is Now, so you can watch them and share them with others who are our allies in combating antisemitism.

Teaming Up on Campus: The Academic Engagement Network — an organization that mobilizes networks of university faculty and administrators to counter antisemitism — and ADL announced a new collaboration to leverage the strengths of both organizations to fight antisemitism on U.S. campuses and in the broader academic world. The partnership will develop and disseminate resources, engage a wider network of Jewish and Zionist faculty and staff, enable joint research and programming and implement targeted initiatives to foster safer, more inclusive campus environments.

Reporting on the Report Cards: Earlier this week, ADL launched a new and expanded edition of ADL’s

Campus Antisemitism Report Card, an in-depth assessment of what schools are doing to combat antisemitism and how to improve the campus climate for Jewish students. The new version now includes 135 schools, up from the 85 assessed last year. For a quick summary of why this Report Card makes an impact, watch ADL CEO Jonathan Greenblatt on MSNBC’s Morning Joe as he discusses the successes and weak spots of schools in protecting Jewish students and Jewish life on campus.

A Global Gathering: On the sidelines of ADL’s Never Is Now Summit, ADL’s 2025 Global Jewish Roundtable brought together 50+ global Jewish leaders to gain practical tools to combat hate. As Ambassador Marina Rosenberg, ADL’s SVP of International Affairs said in expressing the sentiment among these leaders, “An attack on one community is an attack on all.” With nearly half the world’s adults holding significant antisemitic beliefs, this is a vital time to turn words into action. Topics included government advocacy, keeping Jewish students safe, communications strategies as well as legal challenges and opportunities. For more about global antisemitism,

A Platform for Hate: The Nation of Islam held its annual Saviours’ Day conference in Chicago. In a marked departure from over 40 years of tradition, longtime leader Louis Farrakhan, 91, was mostly absent from the weekend’s activities, which were also smaller in scale than usual. Nonetheless, Farrakhan and NOI’s familiar brand of conspiratorial and antisemitic rhetoric — including some of the same claims that Farrakhan made during his 2024 Saviours’ Day address about Hamas’ 10/7 terrorist attack and Israel — reverberated in the messages shared by his followers.

Hate from the Houthis: In January, President Donald Trump designated the Houthis, the Islamic Republic of Iran’s terror proxy in Yemen, as a Foreign Terrorist Organization. This adds to their previous designation under the Biden administration as Specially Designated Global Terrorists. The Houthis have been launching missile and drone attacks against Israel in direct alliance with Hamas since 2023. Who are they? The Houthis, or “Ansar Allah” (Supporters of God), belong to the minority Zaydi sect of Shia Islam. The Houthi attacks on Israel are motivated by a deep and intense hatred of Jews that predates the Gaza conflict by decades.

Helping on the Hill: The Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing titled, “Never to be Silent: Stemming the Tide of Antisemitism in America,” drawing on ADL-prepared materials, including the Annual Audit of Antisemitic Incidents, Campus Antisemitism Report Card data and ADL-drafted questions. Senators from across the political spectrum demonstrated a strong commitment to combating antisemitism on campuses, discussing policies to counter the scourge of antisemitism on college campuses, the point at which peaceful protests escalate into harassment or intimidation, the role of the Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR), the importance of the Nonprofit
Security Grant Program (NSGP), and implementation of the new Executive Order: Additional Measures to Counter Antisemitism.

White supremacists and other antisemites have long used conspiracy theories about the Leo Frank case to cast doubt on the circumstances of the antisemitic lynching of Leo Frank z“l. We’re deeply disturbed that any public official would parrot these hateful and false conspiracy theories, and we hope Kingsley Wilson will immediately retract her remarks.

We’re honored to present Judge Carlos Mahiques with the Klinghoffer Award, which recognizes international leaders for their commitment to eradicating terrorism. Last March, Judge Mahiques played a pivotal role in issuing a ruling holding the Iranian regime responsible for the 1994 deadly bombing of the #AMIA Jewish community center in Buenos Aires.

A memorial at @UMich honoring Shiri, Ariel & Kfir Bibas z"l — a mother and her 2 babies who were brutally murdered in Hamas captivity — was desecrated. An inverted red triangle — a symbol used by Hamas to indicate targets — was painted over a Star of David, alongside the words “Free Palestine.” This is inhumane. This is revolting. This is pro-terror.
