Hey team! It's Devan. As the new DSCC Executive Director, I'm sending an update on our strategy to win back the Senate for Democrats. It's a bit on the longer side, but I hope you can read it all.
If you're short on time, here's what I most need you to know: We're in a strong position to take back the Senate majority, but we need your help to press our advantage and win. If you're already on board, will you pitch in $5 to fight for a Democratic Senate?
Here are two critical things for you to know right now:
THE WORK TO FLIP THE SENATE HAS ALREADY BEGUN.
We're hard at work ensuring Senate Democrats can field the best candidates, implement the smartest, most cutting edge tactics, and run the strongest campaigns possible -- in every single battleground state. If we do that, I'm confident we'll return Democrats to the Senate majority. But it will take this entire team stepping up, because:
THE GOP WILL SPEND HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS TO STOP US.
Republicans spent over $500 million to win Senate control last year. We can build a perfect strategy, but if we don't have enough money to implement that strategy and they outspend us, our chances of winning could disappear. We NEED to supplement our strategy with grassroots resources -- that's our best shot at victory.
