This isn’t the first attack on veterans—and it won’t be the last. Just weeks ago, we saw more than a thousand staff fired from the VA. Then 1,400 more VA workers. Then 800+ VA contracts targeted that fund getting veterans exposed to toxic burn pits access to their record to prove their claims, cancer care for veterans, and more. And now? 80,000 more VA jobs on the chopping block. This is a betrayal to our veterans and to our country. You don’t send young Americans off to fight wars then turn your back on them.
