→ In early February, Elon Musk renewed efforts to “Defund NPR. It should survive on its own.”

→ Then, MAGA extremist Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green demanded their CEOs testify before her DOGE subcommittee after baselessly accusing NPR and PBS of spreading “Democrat propaganda” last year!

→ Next, Donald Trump’s Federal Communications Commission Chair – who thinks NPR and PBS should be defunded – announced that the FCC would be opening investigations into both of these vital news organizations!

→ And now, Republicans in both chambers of Congress have introduced bills to defund NPR and PBS – or what they falsely call “government sponsored propaganda” – carrying out Elon’s demands.

Trump’s MAGA cronies have made it clear that they aren’t afraid to go after ANY institution that won’t fall in line.
