Donald Trump won Wisconsin by less than a percentage point in 2016. And the truth is, he could easily squeak by again this November if we do nothing to stop him.

That brings me to the latest news coming out of our state: Polling shows the presidential race is within the margin-of-error or down to a single digit here in Wisconsin.

I don’t want to alarm you, but we could be in for four more years of Trump in the White House if he manages to win our state again.

But I’m optimistic that together, we can defeat him. This incredible grassroots team helped me win re-election by double digits (!) in a state that went to Trump. Our victory here helped Democrats down the ballot win their races, too.

This November, we have the opportunity — and the responsibility — to do it all again. If we want to stop Trump from securing a second term, we cannot afford to take Wisconsin for granted this year. So, I’m counting on you to help lead Democrats to victory.
