After relentless pressure, public exposure, and direct confrontation, Accuracy in Media has forced Virginia Military Institute (VMI) Superintendent Maj. Gen. Cedric T. Wins out of his position.
🔥 This is a massive victory in the fight against DEI in higher education.
VMI’s Board of Visitors announced it would not renew Wins’ contract after AIM exposed the academy’s hiring of Philip Crane—a known antisemite who refused to retract his support for an anti-Israel proclamation following the October 7 attacks.
🚨 AIM’s aggressive campaign included:
✅ Deploying mobile billboards on VMI’s campus
✅ Confronting the Board of Visitors directly
✅ Driving 34,000+ emails to VMI leadership demanding action
Our pressure worked. VMI caved under the weight of public demand for accountability.
But we’re not stopping here.
Firing Maj. Gen. Wins is just the beginning. We will not stop until radical ideologies are wiped out of VMI and beyond.
This victory sends a clear message: Universities pushing DEI and radical agendas will be held accountable. If they won’t clean up their institutions—we will do it for them.
In liberty,
Adam Guillette
