   John -
The Amazon rainforest is at risk of destruction, and Citibank, JPMorgan
Chase, and Bank of America are helping to fund it.^1
These banks are still pouring money into fossil fuel exploration, despite
claiming to fight biodiversity loss and exploitation of Indigenous people.
That’s blatant greenwashing, plain and simple.^2 It’s time for us to make
   them stop.
[ [link removed] ]We need to take a stand and demand Citibank, JPMorgan Chase, and Bank
of America pull their investments from fossil fuel projects that are
   destroying the Amazon.

John, our fight here is more important than ever. As Donald
Trump and his billionaire pals deny climate science and persecute climate
scientists and anyone who dares to speak out, we need to come together to
   protect our planet.
While working people struggle to keep up with rising costs — rent,
utilities, food, and more — these banks are using our money, OUR savings,
to fund the destruction of the Amazon. They’re raking in the profits while
   our planet’s biodiversity suffers.
Last year, a report by COICA and Stand.earth exposed Citibank, JPMorgan
Chase, and Bank by America as the top players fueling devastation of the
   Amazon.^3 It’s despicable.
Despite their greenwashing, these banks have doubled down on funding the
destruction of our planet. The Amazon is a biodiversity hotspot and
crucial to our fight against the climate crisis. Yet, instead of
protecting it, these banks are enabling its destruction for profit — while
Indigenous and local communities bear the brunt of the impact.
We can’t stand idly by, and we can’t wait for someone else to save us. We
must put pressure on these banks to stop investing in our destruction and
start investing in a transition to renewable energy.
