Friends,
Workers across Colorado and the country deserve fair wages, safe working conditions, and the right to organize without fear. I was proud to stand with the hardworking employees of King Soopers and members of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union (UFCW) as they fought for better pay and protections on the job earlier this month.

Unions are the backbone of the middle class. Our communities are stronger when workers have a seat at the table. Corporate greed cannot come before the dignity of those who keep our stores running, stock our shelves, and ensure families have the food they need.
I’m glad that the strike is now over and that officials are returning to the bargaining table.
