 DOGE is at it again, John.  Our postal service is independently run for a reason. For Trump to try and turn it into a political weapon is dangerous. Millions of Americans depend on the United States Postal Service for the quick and safe delivery of life-saving medication, Social Security checks, and more. In addition, many states allow mail-in ballots, and it is unacceptable for Trump or any candidate to be literally in control of our votes. This is not the first time that Donald Trump’s administration has signaled his intent to privatize the postal service, and it may not be the last. What is for certain is that we cannot let it happen. I’m working with colleagues on proposals to keep the postal service independent, and a public service, and I want to make sure that you are with me. Sign this petition demanding that the United States Postal Service remain independent.
