Your actions were a stark reminder of the disrespect and contempt that many Democrats have for our country and its institutions. It's unacceptable that you would use this moment to grandstand and score cheap political points.
I demand that you apologize to the American people for your boorish behavior. Your actions were not only a disservice to the office of the President, but also to the country as a whole.
Furthermore, I call on your colleagues in the Democratic Party to condemn your actions and take steps to ensure that such disrespect is not tolerated in the future.
Make no mistake, Congressman, the American people will not forget your behavior. We will remember your lack of respect and decorum, and we will hold you accountable for your actions.
