Folks,

Tuesday night, President Trump made a joint address to Congress.

And like many of you who watched the address at home, I witnessed the man who holds the highest office in the land blatantly lie and mislead Americans about the problems his administration created.

There wasn’t a single mention of Medicaid, Medicare, or the veterans impacted by his administration’s funding freezes. No acknowledgment of how rising costs are crushing working families, which will only worsen due to his reckless tariffs. No plans for how to make things easier for everyday people.

Only a litany of lies and unhinged bluster.

Team — this is Trump’s go-to, but we cannot let it become business as usual. I refuse to normalize the extreme things our President is saying and doing.

President Trump and his cronies are taking a wrecking ball to our government, and I won’t stand idly by while he does it. I’ll continue to share the stories of those being hurt by this administration’s destructive actions. And I’ll keep working to elect and support local leaders who will join our fight.
