Team, Social Security has long been on the GOP’s chopping block – but now they’re ramping up their attacks with the help of billionaire Elon Musk.

First, House Republicans released a plan to GUT Social Security – proposing overall cuts of over $1.5 TRILLION, raising the retirement age to 69, and REDUCING the monthly average Social Security benefit check by $629. Then, Elon bolstered their efforts by spreading conspiracy theories and using his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to investigate the Social Security Administration.

NOW, Social Security Administration leadership said that DOGE is “driving massive cuts to the agency and will make mistakes” – causing increased wait times up to HOURS on the Social Security hotline, and widespread delays in reviews of disability and retirement claims.
