Dear John,
We are at a critical crossroads, and the stakes have never been higher. As we've shared with you, the current administration is attempting to cut funding to vital programs that improve the quality of life for our communities. We've been working tirelessly to keep you updated on these efforts, rallying our partners and mobilizing a remarkable number of elected officials to stand against this harmful federal budget proposal.
On Tuesday, Alliance San Diego released a sign-on letter that highlights county-specific statistics and outlines the many devastating consequences our community will face if this federal budget passes. Over 110 elected officials in San Diego County stand in strong opposition to this harmful budget and the damage it would inflict on our families.
This country belongs to all of us, as do human rights and dignity. With key deadlines and budget votes fast approaching (as soon as April), it’s crucial We the People remain united. Please continue to spread the word—share information with your friends and family, repost trustworthy content, and most importantly, stand firm in solidarity to protect our communities from the dangerous actions of those who are prioritizing their own wealth over our collective well-being.
The fight against the abuse of power by billionaires, bullies, and bigots is ongoing, but together, we have the strength to create lasting change. Want to learn more??
