Over half of Colorado’s population lives in a moderate to high-risk wildfire area. And as many of us have seen, wildfires have only become more and more common because of climate change.

But because of Trump and Musk’s efforts to indiscriminately fire thousands of federal employees — including those at Lakewood’s Federal Center — Colorado could have fewer resources to combat these disasters.
