Moms for Liberty just took their war on public education to a terrifying new level.

With Trump’s backing and in conjunction with the Department of “Education”, they are setting up a school “snitch line”—encouraging parents to report teachers who they believe are “indoctrinating” students.

This has nothing to do with education. This is just good old thuggery and intimidation of educators into teaching what these extremists decide is right. This would allow schools to fire teachers who teach real history, LGBTQ+ students being erased from classrooms, and scientific censorship.

This isn’t about “parental rights” or any other nonsense Moms for Liberty pushes. This is McCarthyism—it’s a witch hunt designed to scare teachers into submission and turn schools into battlegrounds for Trump’s extremist movement.
