Breaking News: The Trump team plans to cut over 80,000 jobs from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). 

Over 25% of the VA’s workforce are veterans. You do the math. 

The VA provides essential healthcare to millions of veterans across the country. Under President Biden, VA services were expanded and jobs added to the VA—in part to comply with the PACT Act, which gave new relief to servicemembers exposed to toxic “burn pits” in the line of duty.

Trump and Musk are targeting veterans. Neither of these two wealthy men have ever served in uniform, much less ever done anything to benefit anyone other than themselves. 

Firing 80,000 employees of the VA would kick thousands of veterans to the curb without so much as a thank you. This is a cold and reckless move that betrays those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom. 

Our nation’s veterans deserve better. It is on us, the people, to stand up and fight back. 

There are thousands of veterans in my district who are appalled by Trump’s treachery.

We can win them, and many others who are regretting their votes for Republicans, if we raise the resources to reach them. Can you chip in $10 or $25 to make sure every last veteran in my district knows that Trump is betraying them and our country before our election on April 1?
