Hi John,
Every dollar you pay in federal sales tax goes to pay interest on the debt.
The feds doubled the debt in less than a decade because Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is addicted to wasting your money.
Now is your opportunity to push the federal government to rein in spending, lower your taxes and balance the budget.
The federal government launched its pre-budget consultation survey. It’s your chance to tell the government what you want to see in the next budget.
With an election likely right around the corner, filling out the survey is very important. Government bureaucrats will use these survey results to brief the next government on what Canadians want in the budget.
By filling out the budget survey you can show the next government you want politicians to cut taxes, cut wasteful spending and balance the budget.
You can fill out the government’s pre-budget survey by clicking this link:

If you don’t like the options in the government’s multiple-choice questions, you can hit “other” on some of the questions and tell the government what you’d like to see.
Here are a few examples of the government’s wasteful spending:
- Trudeau hired 108,000 more bureaucrats in less than a decade
- Global Affairs Canada spends $51,000 per month on booze
- The CBC cost taxpayers more than $1 billion every year
- The government spent $11.2 billion on corporate subsidies in 2022 alone
Thanks for fighting for taxpayers – you’re making a difference!
All the best,
Franco TerrazzanoPS: It only takes a couple minutes to tell the feds to balance the budget by cutting wasteful spending: https://www.canada.ca/en/department-finance/programs/consultations/2025/pre-budget-consultations-2025.html
