Dear Friend,

I hope you don’t think good people should be punished for being INNOCENT.

Because Police Officer Josh Taylor is rotting in prison right now for a crime
another officer committed.

Josh has been ripped away from his children, Creedence and Lainey, and is
serving an 11-year sentence –for a crime he did not commit!

Thankfully, you can help Josh win his freedom and reunite with his children by
supporting his urgent appeal of his case.

The case for Josh’s innocence is as clear as the difference between night and
day. Here’s a quick summary...

It started late on the night of July 4th, 2019, in Wilson, Oklahoma, when Josh
got a call about a domestic disturbance and arrived at the scene to find a
large 350-pound man named Jared Lakey walking down the street entirelyNAKED.

Josh instantly knew this was someone who wasn’t in his right mind and that
drugs could be involved, so he called for backup, and Officer Bandon Dingman
arrived.

Josh and Brandon tried to handcuff Lakey, but Lakey possessed inhuman strength
and fought them the entire time.

Then they used a NON-LETHAL taser, but it didn’t work because Lakey would rip
out the barbs, rendering it ineffective.

So Josh and Brandon called for more backup, and a county deputy sheriff
arrived.

This deputy sheriff was much more aggressive than Josh and Brandon. He didn’t
ask Josh and Brandon what they needed. He just acted.

Without consulting Josh and Brandon, the deputy sheriff snuck up behind Lakey
and put him in aDANGEROUS CHOKEHOLD for 40 seconds. Finally, Lakey was placed
in handcuffs.

But after the deputy sheriff put Lakey in a chokehold, Lakey began having
trouble breathing and was rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, there was
nothing more they could do, and Lakey passed two days later.

The incident was investigated, and Josh and Brandon were TWICE CLEARED by the
Chief of Police and the City Council because they had used theNON-LETHAL
taser...

...and it was the deputy sheriff who put Lakey in a dangerous chokehold that
restricted his airways for 40 seconds.

Josh and Brandon did nothing wrong. But a year after the incident, a
politicized prosecutor brought second-degree murder charges against Josh and
Brandon...

...but he did NOT charge the deputy sheriff who put Lakey in the chokehold.

Why?

Because that deputy sheriff was politically connected, and Josh and Brandon
are not.

The deputy sheriff was allowed to quit his job and testify against Josh and
Brandon, and in return, no charges would be brought against him...

...even though the deputy sheriff is the one who likely caused Lakey’s death!

As outrageous as this story is so far, it gets worse.

The vindictive prosecutor wanted to guarantee convictions and repeatedly
violated Josh and Brandon’s constitutional rights.

One of the fundamental issues at the trial was whether Lakey’s death was
caused by theNON-LETHAL taser or the deputy sheriff’s DANGEROUS 40-SECOND
CHOKEHOLD.

But when the Medical Examiner testified at trial, he said it was a “guess” as
to the causation of death.

A “GUESS”!!! No one should be convicted on a guess.

Indeed, there was ample testimony at trial by taser experts that the taser was
non-lethal and didn’t cause Lakey’s demise.

The 40-second chokehold is the likely cause of Lakey’s passing.

Josh and Brandon were railroaded at trial and are now serving 11-year
sentences.

I need your help to correct this massive wrong by supporting an emergency
appeal we’ve filed in court to overturn Josh and Brandon’s convictions.

Your donation could make the difference between Josh coming home for Christmas
and being with Creedence and Lainey...

...or Josh not getting home for a decade!

The anti-cop crusade by some radical prosecutors must stop.

They’ve destroyed too many good cops, and I urge you to help free Josh and
Brandon, who are in prison for another officer’s crimes.
