The Office of Gun Violence Prevention Goes Dark

Greg Jackson’s work as Deputy Director of the White House Office of Gun
Violence Prevention was a game-changer. As a survivor turned advocate,
Greg brought urgency and humanity to the federal fight against gun
violence. Under his leadership, the office tackled gun violence as the
public health crisis it is, coordinating across agencies to save lives.
However, with the incoming Trump administration, Greg and his team have
stepped down, leaving the office’s future uncertain. This shift signals a
troubling step back from the progress we’ve fought to achieve. While the
White House may change, our mission doesn’t.
Greg’s work has built momentum that cannot be erased, and it’s up to us to
