Our WFP family is proving every single day that together, we can rise to any challenge. The unprecedented economic and public health crisis we face has been no exception.

We moved quickly to scale up our digital organizing operation. We are working hard to make sure voters have all the information they need to cast their ballots safely for WFP-endorsed candidates in June primaries and beyond. And WFP champions like Kendra Brooks, Jumaane Williams, Rashida Tlaib, and so many more are making us proud every day by speaking truth to power, standing with their constituents, and fighting to make sure working families have what they need, even in the most difficult circumstances.

But with so many unknowns in the months ahead, one of the most important things we can do is make sure we're prepared for whatever 2020 throws at us next. We need to raise $68,000 by midnight tomorrow and we're roughly $10,000 short of that goal.

These are difficult times for all of us in ways big and small. We can't blame you if you haven't kept up with every latest headline in this election. And we certainly understand if you haven't been able to contribute financially.

But with the right's escalating threats in response to the uprisings against police violence, the rent due on Monday for millions of Americans out of work, and the tens of thousands of lives lost to COVID-19, the stakes of this election couldn't possibly be higher.

The deck is stacked against us more than ever before, but we're not backing down. We can take on entrenched corporate incumbents and special interests with candidates who will fight for the people — and win. We just need to make sure we have the resources to keep up this fight.
