Dear John,
I hope you will join us tomorrow, Friday, March 7, from 12-1 PM for our virtual Lunch and Learn: Keep Maine Moving Forward | Climate Action in Uncertain Times.
REGISTER HERE [[link removed]]
As climate setbacks continue at the federal level, it’s more important than ever that Maine forges ahead with bold policies to cut pollution, build clean energy, and strengthen community resilience. Despite national challenges, there are clear opportunities to drive progress at the state level and ensure Maine is a leader in climate action.
Join Conservation Law Foundation, Maine Audubon, Maine Conservation Voters, Maine Youth for Climate Justice, the Natural Resources Council of Maine, and the Union of Concerned Scientists for a discussion on the latest climate science and opportunities for action in Maine. We’ll explore key legislation shaping the state’s climate future, including policies to expand clean energy, promote energy fairness, and hold polluters accountable.
Learn more about the opportunities—and challenges—facing Maine’s climate movement and how you can help keep our state on the path to a cleaner, more just future.
I hope to see you tomorrow,
Maggie
