Last night, I sat in the House chamber and listened as Donald Trump delivered his first address to Congress of his second term. And as expected, he lied over and over and showed exactly where his priorities are: with his billionaire buddies, his MAGA extremists, and the dictators he admires — not with the American people.

I was proud to bring a guest to the address that represents Delaware. A combat veteran who fought overseas to defend this country he loves. When he returned home, he continued serving his country in civilian life. His thanks?

An unceremonious and illegal firing — pushed by Donald Trump and an unelected billionaire.

This is what Trump’s America looks like: loyalty to the ultra-wealthy, cruelty toward those who serve, and a government that works only for the privileged few. He is failing the American people, plain and simple.

We haven’t even seen the full cost of his disastrous policies yet. His reckless economic decisions, his disregard for alliances, and his refusal to lead with integrity will only drive our country further into instability.

That’s why I will never stop fighting for the American people. Unlike Trump, I believe in leadership that puts working families first. To stand up to him, I need your help.
