Last night, I had a firsthand look into the dangers of the Trump
administration. Trump’s address to a Joint Session of Congress was filled
with lies, misleading claims, and hateful rhetoric.
The American people deserve better than two hours of dangerous, dishonest
ramblings. And that’s exactly why I walked out.
I’m committed now more than ever to fighting back against the Trump
administration’s dangerous actions, and defending programs like Medicaid
and SNAP that millions of poor and working people across this country rely
on.
