Hi friend --

Senator Bernie Sanders has called on Congress to provide greater relief to Americans in crisis.

The former Democratic presidential candidate has said current relief measures don’t go far enough, especially for the 36 million now unemployed. Sanders is advocating for a paycheck security program that guarantees pay and benefits to workers who have lost their jobs -- followed by a safe return to those jobs as quickly as possible.

But Trump and Republicans have refused to consider the relief bill Democrats already passed in the House. Sanders might argue the package doesn’t help enough -- right now, thanks to the GOP, it’s not helping at all.

We want to know what you think about whether elected officials are acting appropriately in a time of crisis. Please, tell us now:

Should Congress act now to help Americans in need?

    Yes
    No

Thank you for your response.
