We’re talking about policies that would raise health care premiums, slash support for food and housing, and threaten the well-being of families who are already struggling to make ends meet.

Here’s what their proposed $880 billion in cuts would mean in AL-07:

Under the Republican budget plan, the 55,000 people who rely on ACA coverage in AL-07 would see their average premium go up by $510 per year—a 66% increase.
A 60-year-old couple earning $85,000 per year could see their annual health insurance costs increase by $20,604—a staggering 285% jump.
The 149,777 people on Medicaid in AL-07—including 88,789 children and 13,448 seniors—would be at serious risk of losing their coverage.
Extreme Republican budget plans threaten the 65,168 people in AL-07 who count on SNAP to put food on the table.
