John, last night, I walked out of Trump’s State of the Union.
And as I walked away, the back of my shirt had one important message for him: NO KINGS LIVE HERE.
In the spirit of student protestors from the Civil Rights Movement, I’m proud to have protested alongside many of my colleagues.
Because let's be clear: This is NOT a normal time.
And elected officials can’t be pretending like it is, doing business-as-usual. Business-as-usual right now means losing our healthcare, losing our livelihoods, and losing our democracy. I won’t let that happen.
All of us who refuse to stand by while Trump acts above the law, tearing apart our democracy piece by piece to make billionaires like Elon Musk even richer, need to stand together.
