Indiana GOP Responds To President Trump’s Address To Congress

 

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Republican Party responds to President Donald Trump’s 2025 address to the joint session of Congress:

“Under President Donald J. Trump, our country has never been stronger. In less than 45 days, he has already taken significant steps to reduce the size of government, secure our border, and implement economic policies that benefit hardworking Hoosiers.  For example, President Trump’s America First agenda has led Honda to manufacture its next generation of Civic hybrids in Indiana instead of Mexico—a major win for our state’s economy and workforce,” said Indiana Republican Chairwoman Lana Keesling. “After four years of Joe Biden, the United States is back, and that’s because of President Trump’s bold leadership.”

"President Trump consistently delivers on his promises to the American people. In 6 weeks, President Trump reduced border crossings down 90 percent; took real steps to unleash domestic energy; cut waste, fraud, and abuse through DOGE; and removed harmful DEI practices in government,” said Indiana Governor Mike Braun. “These are all initiatives that my administration has tackled head-on in Indiana as well, and I look forward to working with President Trump to continue doing the work that Hoosiers and Americans overwhelmingly elected us to accomplish.”
