Ummm yeah, so that happened….
John, we hope you didn’t watch last night's Trump speech. We’ve summarized some of the worst moments to save you the time:
- He said that immigrants have “destroyed” towns like Aurora, Colorado, and Springfield, Ohio
- He used his derisive "Pocahontas" nickname for Sen. Elizabeth Warren
- He claimed, "Our country will be woke no longer"
- He also said he wants to mandate the death penalty for “anyone who murders a police officer”
- He wants more money for deportations
- He also FALSELY claimed that DOGE has found hundreds of billions in fraud

Rush a donation to Black Lives Matter now. The fight for Black liberation is more important now than ever.
One thing about Trump, he’s not changing his tune. He STAYS defending Elon and their hot mess DOGE. He pins the blame on immigrants, other countries, and really just anyone other.
We don’t just have smoke for Trump and MAGA, though. The silence and lack of resistance or a plan from leaders on the Democratic side speaks VOLUMES.
One major caveat? Rep. Al Green from Texas protested against Trump’s hate speech and made his dissent known loudly and proudly!
To other Democratic leaders who are allegedly so against Trump and everything he does: do better.
Over here at Black Lives Matter, we’re the antithesis of everything that Trump stands for. It’s why he attacks us. We won’t stand for his white supremacist words and policies. We’re about Black liberation today and every day, and we’re fighting back against Trump right now.
It’s why he’s attacking “DEI” and organizations like ours. Can you support us in this fight as we continue to organize to combat the white supremacist agenda that Trump and his MAGA supporters continue to push?
In solidarity,
Black Lives Matter
Our grassroots movement is pushing for Black liberation every single day. We are striving to create a world where Black people do so much more than just survive. It’s time we thrive.
As an organization one of our biggest hurdles is consistency.
A recurring contribution of anything you can afford goes a long way as we plan for the months, years, and even decades ahead. This is the most effective way for small-dollar donors (like you) to power our Black liberation work.
Will you make a recurring contribution of $5 or more today so that we can keep building momentum for our movement?
