You probably watched the State of the Union last night—or at least caught the lowlights. What you didn’t hear? A word about Trump’s corruption.

He didn’t mention how he’s spent his time in office dismantling ethics rules, gutting anti-corruption enforcement, and protecting his own business interests. Instead, he bragged about the “Gulf of America” while dodging accountability.

Here are a few of Trump’s actions he chose not to highlight:

He made it easier for foreign governments to influence U.S. policy by gutting enforcement of laws meant to stop it.

He ended the enforcement of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, making it easier for corporations—including his own—to engage in bribery.

He fired the head of the Office of Government Ethics —the agency that oversees anti-corruption rules for the executive branch.

He fired 19 inspectors general, independent watchdogs responsible for investigating corruption and ethics violations by government officials.

Corruption isn’t just a Trump problem—it’s a threat to our democracy. We cannot afford to let him continue down this path.
