Experience a day of fun and excitement on the ice!
 Join us at Beaver Park in Lisbon for a day of fun and winter adventures on Saturday, March 8. Maine Outdoor Programs in partnership with Lisbon Parks & Recreation and Lisbon Police Department invites folks of all ages and skill levels to experience the beauty and adventure of winter in Maine. Whether you are a seasoned outdoor enthusiast or a first-time adventurer, there will be a variety of activities tailored to different abilities and interests.
From ice fishing, snowshoeing, and winter hikes to wood carving demonstrations, dog sledding ($15 per person), and traditional sledding, our experienced instructors offer guidance and encouragement to ensure you make the most out of the winter fun.

Anyone 16 years of age or older will need to purchase a fishing license. Fishing licenses are available for one day, three days, and for the entire 2025 fishing season. Fishing gear will be provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own gear.
Dress in layers for varying weather conditions - waterproof winter boots, warm socks, snow pants, a hat, mittens or gloves, and a warm jacket.
