Prepare before you go
Help us prevent litter around Kitsap by bagging your StyrofoamTM and securing your load [ [link removed] ] before heading to the Fairgrounds. If possible, transport your StyrofoamTM in an enclosed space, such as your backseat or trunk. If transporting your StyrofoamTM in a truck bed, make sure to strap down your bagged StyrofoamTM with a cargo net or tarp—it’s the law!
What happens to collected StyrofoamTM?
DTG Recycle will densify collected StyrofoamTM into blocks that are sold into global recycling markets. The material most often becomes picture frames.
