In crisis zones around the world, the clock is ticking for mothers and their babies after the U.S. government terminated ALL funding agreements for UNFPA.

$377 million worth of grants for women and girls has been terminated and any waivers for “lifesaving interventions” and humanitarian relief have been canceled. This shortfall in our funding will have devastating impacts on women, girls, and the health and aid workers who serve them in the world’s worst humanitarian crises.

The need for our work is urgent, and U.S. support has been terminated for services in regions where it’s needed most, including in:

* Ukraine , where UNFPA provided emergency health services and supplies, like mobile incubators so newborns can be moved to safety during ongoing attacks.
* Gaza , where the health system is collapsing and displaced women and girls need our reproductive health services more than ever.
* Yemen , where the climate crisis and failing services make UNFPA’s rapid response reproductive health and gender-based violence services a vital resource.
