Team, I don’t mean to alarm you, but the reality of the situation is that as soon as Monday we could get a decision on the fate of the DACA program from the United States Supreme Court.

First, no matter what they decide in that courthouse one thing will always be true: Our home is here and we are undocumented, unafraid, and here to stay. No matter the decision, we’ll never abandon the fight for true racial and economic liberation for undocumented people everywhere.

Next, to make sure we’re prepared for the many ways this case could go we’ve been hard at work, coming up with multiple plans based on the different scenarios that could play out.

We’ve been even adjusting these plans in the most recent weeks to make sure we can accomplish our goals while staying safe and effective during the public health crisis.

While much is uncertain one thing is not: all of our rapid response efforts will hinge on us having the resources ahead of time. So today, in the last few days before we pivot our immediate focus to react to the Supreme Court’s ruling on DACA, I have an ask that is more timely than ever:

If you’re in the financial position to, will you make a contribution — of any amount — to the DACA Rapid Response Fund? We’ll be using everything we raise for this to channel our efforts in the immediate aftermath of the SCOTUS decision to get information to our organizers and communities of activists all over the country as fast as possible. Your donation today will help us prepare right now for how to react in those first critical moments.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

Anything you can give today can make a huge difference in the days to come. We appreciate all you do as a critical part of our fam, and we’ll be in touch soon with more information on how to help ahead of Monday’s potential decision from the Supreme Court on Trump’s attacks against DACA recipients.
