Dear John,

Round two in PFLAG v. Trump is another VICTORY for transgender young adults, youth, and their families: late yesterday afternoon, a federal judge granted a request for a preliminary injunction blocking enforcement of Trump’s executive order threatening gender-affirming medical care for people under 19.

This means our families can continue receiving care—and medical professionals can continue providing that care—while the case proceeds.

This is YOUR victory as much as ours and together we must keep up the momentum.

Please make a gift now to surpass our goal of $100,000 in support of trans youth, young adults, and their loving parents and families

We know that the extreme actions and rhetoric will continue in the months ahead—especially leading into Transgender Day of Visibility on March 31st—and hundreds of thousands of trans and nonbinary young people and their families are counting on PFLAG National — and YOU — to fight back.

It’s not lip service: When we say to every trans and nonbinary person, “We have your back,” we mean it.

Whether you or a loved one is transgender, or you are a person who believes that discrimination and coercion are wrong in every setting, you can be a part of winning this case and supporting families in need of security, resources, and safe spaces of belonging in these terrifying times.

Thank you so much for going above and beyond in the fight for justice — and trans lives.

In solidarity,

Brian K. Bond (he/him)
CEO, PFLAG National

P.S. If you can’t donate right now, you can still support this case by helping to spread the word, whether by sharing this fundraiser or sharing our FAQ resources at pflag.org/resource/pvt-faqs.
