Friends,
2020 is poised to be the most consequential election year of our time. Our country is at a crossroads, and we’re faced with a choice this November: We can continue to let Washington division hold us back, or we can embrace unity so we can make progress as a nation.
I ran for president because I knew that change is worth fighting for. But I also knew that winning the White House would mean very little if we were to lose the House majority -- specifically, leaders like Anthony Brindisi who flipped seats in 2018 by bringing people together.
That’s why I’m reaching out to you personally to ask if you’ll join me in supporting Anthony in his ultra-competitive re-election race.
Anthony has proven that we can achieve more when we put people over politics. I’m fully invested in his race, and I hope you will help us protect his victory by chipping in with a donation ahead of his pre-primary fundraising deadline in four days. >>
With competitive races up and down the ballot this year, I’m sure you’re getting a lot of requests from campaigns asking for your help. But I want to quickly explain why your support is crucial in Anthony’s race:
- Anthony only won his last election by 8 votes per precinct. His race could come down to just 1% in 2020 and has been rated a pure “toss up” by multiple election experts.
- DC insiders have already dropped millions trying to unseat Anthony. They are planning to ramp up spending even more as we approach Election Day.
- Claudia Tenney -- a former Congresswoman and Anthony’s GOP opponent -- has carved a lane as one of Washington’s most divisive politicians.
As you can see, holding onto Anthony’s seat won’t be easy. But together, I know we can get the job done and protect our House majority.
So if you can, I hope you’ll pitch in with a donation of whatever size works for you. Anthony is facing a pre-primary fundraising deadline in four days, and he needs all of us in his corner in the fight ahead. >>
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my note. I hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy.
