Hey team –

Nice to meet you! My name is Chris, and I'm The Collective PAC's new Director of Campaigns. There is so much going on right now in our country, but I'm excited to be a part of this team that focuses on electing Black candidates up and down the ticket. With your help we can continue closing the gaps in representation.

I wanted to make sure you saw our email this week lifting up not one, not two, but three incredible Black women who are running for office in Pennsylvania and Indiana. These women are running to bring real representation and change to their communities, and they're counting on grassroots teams like ours to help them win.

If you haven't had the chance yet, contribute to our Black Girl Magic Fund today so we can continue to work on electing the next wave of Black women leaders. Then read on below to learn more about Summer, Dee, and Melissa.

Together, we will win!

Chris
Director of Campaigns, The Collective

In 2018, Rep. Summer Lee won with more than sixty percent of the vote in a race against a twenty-year incumbent. Now, she's fighting for re-election in Pennsylvania after becoming the first Black woman from Southwestern Pennsylvania to hold the office of State Representative. Chip in to help re-elect Rep. Summer Lee >>

Dee Thorton is a former collegiate athlete, businesswoman, public speaker, and coach. Now, she's running to be the next representative of Indiana's 5th District to help bring some real representation to her state. Chip in to help elect Dee Thorton >>

Melissa Borom is a strong Democrat and a life-long resident of Northwest Indiana who is running on a platform of criminal justice reform, environmental protection, and health care reform. She's witnessed firsthand power-hungry politicians courting the special interests while leaving her community behind. Chip in to help elect Melissa Borom >>

Whether you live in Pennsylvania or Indiana – or want to help build Black political power across the United States – we know when we work together, Black communities win.

Let’s help these three Black leaders win in 2020. Contribute to our Black Girl Magic Fund today.
