Today, Mayor Adams is in DC, ready to sell out our immigrant communities and the safety of all New Yorkers to the Trump Administration—betraying us once again.

New York has long been a stronghold for our immigrant communities as a sanctuary city, directly opposing Trump’s mass deportation agenda. Now, this administration is pushing a cruel bill designed to strip federal funding from cities that refuse to cooperate with their deportation plans.

Trump’s message is clear: NYC must choose between protecting immigrant New Yorkers or losing critical federal funding for programs like school lunches and health care. New York, are we going to let a racist and fascist president tell us what to do?

Donald Trump may control Eric Adams, but he does not control us. We will not stand by as our friends, neighbors, and city are sold out. Join us in demanding Congress protect all of NYC!

Despite the relentless anti-immigrant rhetoric from the current administration, we know the truth: sanctuary policies work. They keep families together, ensure children can go to school safely, and build trust between communities and law enforcement. Our city is stronger, and every New Yorker is safer, because of these policies.

Trump wants to tear that safety away, and Adams is ready to comply. They are willing to risk the well-being of all New Yorkers to advance their agenda—but we are going to show we will not be bullied into abandoning who we are, New York!

This is not the time for silence. This is our moment to fight back. Let’s show our president and mayor what New York City is made of.
