Help us use every lever in our power >>

Ayanna Pressley for Congress

There’s no shortage of headlines about the Trump administration’s antics. Every day it feels like there’s a new, unprecedented attack from Trump or his billionaire buddy, Elon. It’s no secret that they’re trying to “flood the zone” to overwhelm us. The cruelty is the point.

But people are coming together in every corner of our country to push back against their cruel agenda. We are using every lever of power we have to resist. And it’s working.

Last month, a federal judge in Boston paused Trump’s policy to slash billions of dollars in crucial funding for the National Institutes of Health.

Federal workers are taking to the streets daily to peacefully protest these illegal attempts to dismantle entire federal agencies and harm the people relying on them for Medicaid, social security, consumer protections, and so much more.

A federal court in New Hampshire blocked Trump’s attempt to strip babies born in the United States of their rights to citizenship.

And Trump’s “anti-DEI” attacks are being challenged in courts across the country.

The power of the people has always been greater than the people in power. As he stands this evening to address a joint session of Congress let’s remember: Trump may have a thing for dictators, but we live in a democracy.

I’m doing all that I can to resist Trump's attempts to dismantle our government. I’m joining federal workers in my district at rallies. I’m speaking out on the House floor against the GOP’s cruel budget resolution. And I’m not letting Trump and his billionaire buddies silence our movement.

Our acts of resistance are working. I’m using every lever I can to stop attacks on our government from Trump and extremist Republicans. Please help by pitching in whatever you can today to keep this fight going.
