I ran for US Senate because our leadership has failed to address the numerous injustices people within our communities face daily, like people dying just for being black and our Latinx community representing 40% of COVID-19 deaths.
Though I’m out of the running, the movement to put people first we built together will carry on to fight for dignity, equity and justice for everyone! I hope you will continue to be a part of that movement and continue to be an ally to those who have been pushed to the margins.
Our campaign is transitioning to become the Put People First Movement, including our Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts. We will host monthly town halls, post about relevant events and resources, and host phone banks for other people-centered candidates.
Our final reporting deadline is in two days and we have some final expenses we need to wrap up to officially close out the campaign.
We need to raise $1,800 to pay for outstanding legal fees, email and fundraising services, and staff bonuses. We still have posters and yard signs available on our merchandise page, so please donate one last time and collect a memento while you're at it!
